I really like the animation style from the pics you included in your article. Between that and the clever storytelling I'm tempted to give it a chance.
I'm curious on the tv shows that force us to think and make our own theories. Do you think Severance fits the bill? I feel it's one of the rare hyper popular shows lately that generates a lot discussion and fan theories (mostly on Reddit).
Actually, Severance is my absolute favorite show that fits the bill as of late. No hand-holding, no easy answers, a lot of theories, and a dozen question marks. I haven't finished Season 2 yet since I'm waiting for all the remaining episodes to drop (one left), but I can't wait to binge-watch the last 4 episodes.
I hope you give a chance to Common Side Effects. It's a really unique show with fascinating possibilities.
I'm up to date and Severance and waiting for the final and I have to say there are still so many open questions. I also love it. I have a ton of theories and then I read new ones online which I think are so clever. The whole discussion around the show is almost as good as the show itself. I hope you write about it after you binge! I'll be super curious to see your takes
I reviewed it early after I watched the first 6 episodes before the Season 2 premiere, but I might double down and write something once I finished the whole thing. Especially if there are a lot of open questions as you say.
Huh. Not what I expected when I saw the thumbnail on Max. I’ll check it out

Oh thanks I'll check it out! I might have seen it already too but my brain is not the best at remembering what I read 😅
OK, but nothing on Copano and Harrington, the best cops in TV history??

They were fun and definitely underused. I also felt like they were smarter than the script gave them credit for -- if that makes sense.
