for real. like that dragon guy is sure to come up again, angstrom levy was supposed to be dead and i was happy with that, i haven't seen allen in 3 episodes(sad). As you said season 3 is "going in circles". they keep revisiting the same thing over and over again.
I feel the exact same way. I’ve been fast forwarding episodes following the season premiere because they’ve been slow and redundant. I detected some of what you point out in season 2 too, but it wasn’t as prevalent. Here’s hoping for a stronger season conclusion.
Yes, there were a few alarming signs in the back half of Season 2, too, but nowhere near as troubling as in the latest one. Fingers crossed that we get a banger season finale or something because this is quite underwhelming and lackluster so far.
As a comic reader, the finale of this season will blow you away, as it's a peak moment of mark journey, and even greater than the nolan fight in season 1 if adapted nicely.
Also the season theme here is questioning mark morality and black and white worldview, so that's what the side plots are for. But i do agree without knowing what's coming, it kinda feels like there's no plot progression and it's a bit aimless.
But there's very big stuff coming...
Also side note, there's a spoiler reason for viltruimites not breeding, and battle beast isn't a random character, but one of the strongest being in the entire universe, able to take on the strongest of viltrumites. And he has an important role to play, not a gag
